"It's not personal," or is it?
There's a difference between things being "personal" and taking things "personally."

"It's not personal," someone said yesterday about the pain in the world. They are wrong.
It is personal. Everything is personal. But there's a subtle difference between things being personal and taking things personally.
Taking things personally means we believe whatever happens on Earth is about us. It's not. Things being personal means we believe whatever happens on Earth impacts us. It does.
So don't tell me that what's going on in the world isn't "personal." It is absolutely personal. What we humans do to each other, how we hurt or love each other, how we honor or disregard Life on this great Earth impacts us without fail.
All Life comes from the same Source — you, me, and every being and thing on Earth. We share pain and joy. We share chaos and harmony. We share freedom and confinement.
We reflect each other's joy and grief, comfort and pain, light and shadow. We see ourselves in each other. We know ourselves through each other.
Our lives impact each other. Our energy impacts each other. Our welfare is inescapably entangled. This holds true and impacts us even if we tell ourselves it doesn't. This is our reality despite difference, distance and disbelief.
Separation is an illusion. You've likely heard that before...because it's true.
We are part of one great Life by virtue of our shared Source. It matters not where we are in relation to each other or if we appear the same, believe the same, or live the same. We share the same basic DNA, are animated by the same sacred energy, carry the same beating heart and live on the same Planet. We are reflections of the same Creator. We are One Living Organism, inescapably intertwined.
Erase the lines of separation. They are fabrications of confused and frightened humans, a figment of your imagination that only exist in your mind by virture of your agreement. They are not real. They are not us.
Look past human ego, fear and error. Deepen into your heart to access this truth. Seek what lives beyond human wounds of betrayal, shame, blame and hurt. Begin the work of unburying who you are at your core, your essence, your true nature of unadulterated love. It's there. Just peer into the eyes of a newborn and see your very nature reflected back to you.
