I feel it too

What if that weird thing you feel inside is important? Do you really want to keep ignoring it?

Like many of us, you might be feeling something inside that you can't quite put your finger on. Something deep. Something different. Something just out of reach...a shift of some kind, but what?

Maybe it feels like a vibe or a tickle. Maybe it's more like a pressure or tension. It could even feel like a release or relief...a bubble of energy sliding upward out of the mud through the murky layers of your being toward the surface of your awareness. And when it hits, you sense that it brings change.

There's an energy building right now. Everyone senses something but women, in particular, seem to feel it clearly. We may not know exactly what it points to but we know a shift is coming.

This is our intuition sparking. Women's intuition is strong and deep, its wisdom pure. It speaks a different language than the mind because it doesn't hold ego and is closely connected to soul energy. It is neutral in tone and clear in voice.

Our intuition talks to us even when we don't listen. It might say "Bring your umbrella" or "Move that bag" or "You're going to see (name) there." The mind argues with our intuition and says "But the sun is out; it's not going to rain" or "Nah, the bag is fine where it is; no one will disturb it" or "No, they won't be there; they never go to these things." Ignoring its clear voice and handing authority to the mind means we're likely to get caught in a rain shower, break the thing in the bag or see the person in question.

While the mind speaks in narratives based on a conditioned history that feels safe and familiar, our intuition speaks in plain truths based on a deep inner knowing that feels mysterious and unfamiliar. Since we are taught to trust the mind, it can be easy to ignore our intuition, even though our mind is often wrong. When we learn to hear and trust our intuition, we realize that its insight—our insight—is spot-on.

Instead of continuing to ignore or diminish that clear, neutral voice speaking to you from somewhere deep inside, practice listening to it. Learn to trust it. Start by following its advice on small things and see what happens. The more you honor it, the more you learn to trust it, the stronger your relationship with it grows and the greater it can serve you.

This simple act can create big change. Attention to our intuition may be the very thing that is rising in women today. Our intuition carries a strong, clear voice that can restore balance and build harmony in a world that seems to have lost both. It creates safety by restoring compassion and integrity. And it revives real love by remembering who we truly are, our essence.

This thing that's rising—the powerful feeling surfacing inside—embrace it. You're not the only woman feeling it right now. I feel it too. So do the other women in our lives, though there are a trusted few we may speak about it with. Whether you choose to speak of it or not, try carrying it into your life and watch the tensions begin to dissolve, the conflicts soften and the intimacy deepen around you as your relationship to your intuition grows.
